Tap Unzip · 轻点解压

Privacy Policy

Effective and last updated: November 5, 2026

Your archives are processed locally. Advertising and website services can process technical information. This policy explains both, along with your choices.

1. Who we are

Tap Unzip (轻点解压), including this support website, is operated by yang liu (XSL), referred to as “we” in this policy. Contact us at yangliu-1995@outlook.com with privacy questions or requests. This policy covers the app, including versions with advertising and optional ad removal, and these support pages.

2. Archives and local storage

Compression, extraction, archive browsing, and file previews are performed on your device. We do not upload archive contents, file names, or archive passwords to our own servers, and we do not supply them to Google for advertising.

The app accesses files or folders you choose through iOS, including permitted files passed through sharing or an extension. Recent-file references, security-scoped bookmarks, settings, and temporary preview or processing files may be stored locally. Archive passwords are used for the current operation and are not saved as a persistent password history.

Files you open from or save to iCloud Drive or another file provider are also handled by that provider under its own terms. Sharing or exporting a file sends it to the destination you choose. Device backups may include app data according to your Apple and backup settings.

3. Google advertising and consent

Ad-supported versions use Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK) for banner and app-open ads, and Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) for applicable privacy choices. Ads may appear when you return from the background. Google may process:

  • IP address and approximate location inferred from it;
  • device and app information, and identifiers such as IDFA when permitted;
  • ad views, taps, and other app interactions;
  • crash, performance, and diagnostic information;
  • consent signals and privacy preferences.

This supports ad delivery, measurement, advertising analytics, fraud prevention, and service reliability. Processing depends on your region, choices, and device settings. See Google’s Privacy Policy, Google’s use of information from partner apps, and Google’s SDK data disclosure.

4. Your advertising choices

Where required, we request consent before the advertising processing that needs it. Available regional choices are presented through Google UMP. You can revisit them using the privacy-options entry in the app’s Settings when that entry is available.

If iOS asks for permission to track, you can decline. You can also change permission in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Declining tracking does not prevent compression or extraction. It does not necessarily stop all advertising-related processing: limited or non-personalized ads can still involve technical information.

When a valid ad-removal purchase is available and recognized, the app stops requesting and displaying ads. This does not erase information already processed by Google. To manage information held by Google, use the controls and contact methods in Google’s policies.

5. Purchases

When offered, ad removal is an optional, one-time, non-consumable purchase processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles your payment information. We do not receive your payment-card details. The app uses Apple transaction information and the resulting entitlement to determine whether ads should be disabled and to restore eligible purchases.

Apple processes purchase and account information under Apple’s Privacy Policy.

6. When you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address, your message, and anything you choose to attach. We use that information to answer you, investigate issues, and maintain relevant support records. Please do not send archive passwords, sensitive documents, or third-party personal information unless it is necessary and you have the right to share it.

7. This website

These pages are hosted and delivered by Cloudflare. Requests may involve technical information such as your IP address, browser information, requested URL, and request time for delivery, security, and abuse prevention. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.

We do not add advertising scripts, analytics scripts, or tracking cookies to these pages. Fonts and styles are served with the site. Language switching uses ordinary links and does not save a language-tracking identifier. Cloudflare may apply its own security measures.

8. Disclosure and international processing

Information is provided to the services described above as needed to deliver advertising, consent management, purchases, website hosting, or support. Google and Apple may process information under their own policies. We do not sell your archive files or provide their contents to advertisers.

We may disclose information we hold when legally required, or when necessary to protect users, investigate abuse, or exercise legal rights, subject to applicable law. Providers may process information in countries outside your place of residence. Where applicable law requires a transfer mechanism or additional consent, the relevant safeguards and consent requirements apply. Google, Apple, and Cloudflare explain their international processing in their policies.

9. Retention, deletion, and security

Local data remains on your device for as long as the app needs it or until it is cleared or the app is removed. You can remove recent items and delete files through the app or Files as applicable. Removing the app does not delete archives you saved outside its storage, files held by other providers, or copies in backups. Temporary files are cleaned up as part of the app’s cache and preview lifecycle.

We retain support correspondence only as long as reasonably needed to resolve requests, maintain necessary records, and meet legal obligations. Google, Apple, and Cloudflare determine retention for information they process under their policies.

We use reasonable safeguards and limit file access to the operations you request. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Keep a backup of important files and protect your device.

10. Legal bases and privacy rights

Depending on your location, processing may rely on your consent (including advertising choices where required), providing the service you request, legitimate interests such as security and responding to support, or legal obligations. Where consent is the basis, you may withdraw it for future processing without affecting prior lawful processing.

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability of personal information we hold, and may complain to your local data-protection authority. Some regions also provide an opt-out of certain advertising uses. Use the advertising controls above or contact us at yangliu-1995@outlook.com. We may need proportionate verification before fulfilling a request. We cannot retrieve files that exist only on your device or erase information held independently by another provider; we can help identify the relevant contact route.

11. Children

The app is a general-purpose utility and is not directed to children under 13, or the higher age requiring parental consent in their region (including under 14 in mainland China). We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information without required permission. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can investigate and delete information under our control where required.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app or applicable requirements change. We will update the date above and provide additional notice or seek consent where required for material changes. The English and Simplified Chinese versions are intended to describe the same practices. Please contact us if you find a difference.
